  12. I just got my CD-ROM player, a Funai 6x IDE.  I have an Amiga
  13. 4000/030.  I have got some problems (small), and would like to
  14. hear from thers who have installed an IDE CD-ROM in an Amiga.  I
  15. have AmigaOS 3.1, and a Samsung 1.27 GB HD.

  17. 1.  The cable from the HD is too short.  Do I need a longer one,
  18. or can I connect two cables somehow?

  20. 2.  What software do I need, and how can I test if things work
  21. quickly.  I plan to return it if I cannot get it to work withing
  22. friday.

  24. 3.  How do I check if it reads the different formats: CD-I,
  25. Photocd, etc?

  27. 4.  How do I make it CD32 compatible?

  30. I appologise if my ignorance is revolting, but somehow info on
  31. CD-ROMS has not flourinshed in the different newsgroups.
